Last week's short trip to Bologna was characterised by drizzles, a cold and awesome company. While I had little time to shoot, I did the outmost of the few days available.

A shootout carried out at Smartcity illustrating the daily life of a busy woman...
It was a normal Sunday morning at the start of 2016, when I received a message via Whatsapp. I am not one of the persons who uses Whatsapp so much and was surprised when I read that someone from abroad had found me online and wanted me to do a photoshoot here in Malta while on a brief holiday. Katyna, immediately sent me a picture of what she envisaged the shootout to be. I immediately told her that the closest thing in Malta to what she desired was the northern coastal area of Malta near Golden Bay.
This time around this shootout took place in Valletta, in the areas around St. Elmo moving up the road in St. Joseph Street which are rather obsure and unfrequented areas by tourists.
For the last few months I was in contact with the very talented cloths designer - Hana Plzakova. So some weeks ago Hana proposed to shoot some ballet dresses she had made... I immediately accepted the opportunity!
Sometimes it takes a lot of planning to get a shootout location booked, makeup artist and models all set... sometime things just happen.
On the 6th of November I had the opportunity to shot Alex and Veronica's wedding - a simple yet elegant wedding. I had already met this sweet couple some months back for their engagement photoshoot at the St. Lucija Chinese Garden.
For those of you who have never been to Riverie, then I urge you to do so. Reverie specialise in contemporary bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride and evening wear. This shootout would not have been possible without the aid of Riverie owner, Pamela who was so helpful throughout the long afternoon.
