Phootshoot with Ferreira Couture

When Ferreira Couture messaged me on Instagram to ask me if I was interested in a shootout it did not take me more than 2 seconds to say yes. As soon as I saw her profile I knew that she loved art and had a certain passion for what she does. After discussing the photographic vision of the photoshoot, we settled on choosing Valletta to create the classic Malta feel. We also managed to get permission to use the MUZA museum for our shootout to get maximum effect. The cherry on the cake was that the model was Gaia Cauchi a popular singer her in model which acted as our beautiful model.

Portraits and branding for RIA Studio

There are certain people which you feel immediately at ease working with and Ritianne is one of them! Apart from a lovely character, she shares a common artistic vision with me, where she loves to make places look better. I cannot but recommend Ritianne and RIA studio enough. In this session we shot some natural and posed portraits for her.

Street photography in Milan - in one day and with a 35mm RX1Rii

I love to shoot and explore new places and therefore when finally after 2 years I got to fly again I was hyped and obviously had to take my faithful RX1Rii camera with me. Although the trip was for non-photographic work reasons, I did manage to find the time for some images. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed Milan!

RXRii and street photography in Gozo

Its summer and with the heat, days of rest come along. After some weekend weddings a few days in Gozo were needed to recharge myself. Although as a wedding photographer here in Malta, the summer months are particularly busy, I still decided that I could not stay without my camera. Armed with the compact yet powerful Sony RX1Rii, I made my way to Gozo to relax and explore.

Cover Album for 'Silent Night'

I simply love when I am asked to do photography work which is out of my comfort zone. Since for me photography is so much more then work, and try some new type of photography work. So I was very keen to work for Darrel, a friend and a talented young vocalist, when he asked me to work with him on the cover album concept of his single for the Christmas period 2020 - ‘Silent Night’….

Naxxar church elevated to a collegiate church

The photos refer to the thanksgiving mass that was celebrated by the College of Canons in the Collegiate Church of Naxxar, on the first anniversary of issuing the decree. Praise be to God, who through these events, invites us to reflect on our faith and the Christian witness that we give to our brethren.

My take on Poznan (Poland)...

There is certainly more to see in Poznan then I show here in my images. But you can all google Poznan, and go to images to see the traditional ones - showing the place, the streets and the architecture. I always try to photograph something different, stories - people - moments.

Family shootout with Amanda and Daniel!

I am not one who usually photographs family memories, however when clients ask for one as they like my photographic style, then I am more then willing to accept. And I am glad I did, as this shootout turned out to be possibly better then I expected.

Tallinn through a 35mm lens

I only had one day and a half to visit this beautiful city of Tallinn. The City hall, the two main squares, the various churches and the medieval walls create a time travel like experience. Since I was travelling for non-photographic work related purposes, I had to travel light and only used my RX1R ii.

A pilgrimage to the Holy Land

Sometimes words cannot adequately express an interior movement, a mystery or a feeling.  This pilgrimage in the holy land falls under such a category.  Although I did have some time to practice photography, the main intent of this trip was spiritual and experiential.  I hope this images can help you find yourself in a mystery, greater then yourself.

A trip to Venice...

Venice is one of my favorite places in Europe, and that is probably why I always find myself returning to this place.  Culture, sea and tourism meet in this unique location.  Although this trip was documented, my intention for the week I was there was to just detach myself from all work and enjoy the moment.  This trip also contained some day excursions to Bologna, Vicenza and Garda.  Enjoy...

Madrid - a city made for street photography

I have just arrived from a work trip in Madrid, and I did have some spare time to roam around and explore the main streets of Madrid.  As they say, I enjoyed getting lost in the streets of Madrid which provided a good opportunity for street photography.  May the below shots inspire you to continue to follow your dreams... :)
