Today I finally have the pleasure to interview my dear friend Ian. Maybe Ian is not aware, but when I started my own idea of becoming a wedding photography his work was one of my favourites and I got inspired by his work. It is with pleasure that I host an interview on my blog with Matthew Calleja, a wedding photographer who like myself, love to take spontaneous and real images. Nico and Maria prepared at the AX the Victoria and the Palace hotel in Sliema and then had their wedding ceremony at the Cospicua Parish Church. The upbeat and joyful wedding reception was held at the MonteKristo Estate at the Palace.

Castello Zamittello was built by a wealthy Baron Bernardo Zamitt, and is a unique castle that lies on the outskirts of a country village of Mgarr, on the way to Gnejna Bay. Built in Norman style, it used to guard against sudden raids by corsairs, as indicated by the four unusual guard turrets adorning its façade. The castle is now set in lush gardens and surrounded by calming country scenes.
Sandra and John are a lovely and modest couple who love art and moments of spontaneity. For this reason I guess we are indeed a perfect match!

I stroll through the streets of Valletta with Agnes and Anthony through the various highlights of Valletta… from the Floriana garden, Strait street, Triton Fountain, neat the National Library, the Parliament house and the Old bakery street and we capture some lovely imagery - some classical shots and some more creative ones.

The second day of Tulsi and Dillon’s wedding is more vibrant than the first and full of surprises! At the end of this indian wedding my feet were surely tired but the smiles and good times we had where worth the work!

The wonderful and colourful wedding of Tulsi and Dillon start with the Pithi and Mendhi ceremonies which occur at the Corinthia St. George. These ceremonies serve as a preparation for the Hindu ceremony.
Jasper and Angely are an energetic, lively and upbeat couple from New York... who decide to have their engagement session here in Malta. And which better place to propose then the Dingli cliffs scenery? 🥰🧡💍 After going to Mdina and Rabat, we head to Dingli cliffs for some breath taking scenery.
Tatiana and Nemanja are a sweet couple which have known each other for a very long time. This initmacy immediately shows in the chemistry there is between the two. We walk around Valletta, creating unique images. Since I am allowed, I let my creative spirit take over as we stroll through the upper Barakka and then various locations in Valletta…
Located in the traditional Maltese village of Siggiewi, this venue has vast grounds which offer a variety of possibilities - both indoor and outdoor. The location has a remarkable thirty foot waterfall and also large park grounds which can easily host a ceremony or a reception.
